We believe that the word of God is the only source of what we are to believe and how we are to practice our Christianity. However, that does not keep us from declaring what we believe in the form of what has come to be called Doctrinal Statements.
Doctrinal Statements serve various purposes. They serve as a brief statement to all who might be interested as to what we believe the word of God teaches. They also serve as a general guide for those who might be interested in joining in our labors.
They are also a means by which we might quickly see the error set forth by others who may claim to use God’s word in their ministries.
They form the basis of our fellowship one with another. The Bible teaches that true fellowship is based upon truth and doctrine and not upon feelings and emotions.
A proper understanding of God’s word will lead those who desire to please the One, True, and Living God to stand fast in the Truth which has been delivered unto them (Jude 1:3).
The Lord bless you as you use the following Doctrinal Statements to help you further understand that which is revealed in the Word of God.
